Gulf Hotels Group expands its Management Training Program

Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain  –Due to the expansion of Gulf Hotels Group within and outside The Kingdom of Bahrain, the Group has doubled the size of its Management Training Program from 5 to 10 trainees on an annual basis, which will ensure a constant supply of talented and capable Bahrainis to meet the needs of the company’s ever expanding portfolio.

The program starts with a six month familiarization program to induct the trainees into the hotel industry following which they embark on a two year diploma course in a well-known hotel school in Lausanne, Switzerland, before returning to complete their training.

On completion of the training program, trainees start their first management career step by joining one of the Group’s hotels in their chosen area of specialization.

Gulf Hotels Group Chief Executive Officer, Garfield Jones and Director of Human Resources and Development, Mahmoud Abd El Monem met with the current batch of trainees to review their progress and their experiences whilst training in Switzerland
